§ 8-26. Penalties.

  • Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than $50.00 nor more than $500.00, or by imprisonment in jail for not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. In addition thereto, the court may require the permanent removal of the animal from the city limits. Each incident which is in violation of the provisions of this article shall be considered as a separate offense and be subject to penalty as provided in this article.
