§ 5-159. Minors on premises prohibited; exceptions.

  • (a)

    It is unlawful for any person under the age of 21 years to remain on any premises licensed as a private club.

    (b)

    It is unlawful for the licensee of any private club to permit any person under the age of 21 years to remain on the premises.

    (c)

    This section shall not apply if:

    (1)

    The person under the age of 21 years is accompanied by his parent or guardian;

    (2)

    The person under the age of 21 years is employed by the licensee subject to the provisions of this article; or

    (3)

    The private club derives not more than 50 percent of its gross receipts in each calendar year from the sale of alcoholic liquor for on-premises consumption.

    (d)

    The city may require records, audits, verifications, affidavits, or any other information necessary to verify the annual gross sales of food for any applicant or renewal licensee including, upon demand, the right to inspect the record books of the establishment.
