§ 26-206. Enforcement; designation of officer; abatement; right of entry; penalty.

  • The community development director or his appointed representative shall be designated as the public officer charged with the administration and enforcement of this division. The public officer shall authorize the investigation of violations of the division. If it is determined that a violation of this division exists, then the officer shall declare such condition a nuisance and is authorized to pursue abatement and enforcement procedures as specified in chapter 41 or may sign a written complaint for prosecution in the municipal court of the city. Penalties shall be as set forth in section 1-13.
