§ 14-139. Restriction to licensed premises.

  • (a)

    All massage therapy, other than in-office massage therapy, provided under the provisions of this chapter, shall be conducted on the premises of a licensed massage therapy establishment.

    (b)

    Exceptions.

    (1)

    Massage therapy may be conducted at a private residence that has been approved by the zoning administrator for a Type I home occupation permit for massage therapy subject to the conditions associated with such home occupation permit, as provided in chapter 74, article X.

    (2)

    Massage therapy may be conducted at a private residence at the direction of and under the direct supervision of a licensed healing arts practitioner.
